The Breeze Spit Roast Story

Since 2015, Kayla and her team have been trusted to provide the best spit roasts in Whangarei and Northland, catering for any kind of special event. Formally known as Alfies Spit Roast for a decade, the company was renamed Breeze Spit Roast and Catering in April 2025.

Made our event stress free and would definitely use again. Pork and lamb were cooked to perfection so tender/melty apart, arrived super hot with gravy and sauces. The wedding venue which was in the middle of our farm was abit of a hike for them to get to us but they really proved that no job was too big for them to tackle.   The ladies turned up nice and early and blended into the background while speeches and the formal part of our wedding was taking place.. As soon as they got the nod for dinner service, the food was promptly delivered to the buffet table and presented beautifully. We have had so many of our guests comment on the great quality and flavour of the meat dishes saying they were all so tender and delicious . The beef in particular was a huge hit. The meat was complemented by a range of yummy salads, potato and gravy and all the goods. We can’t recommend Kayla and her team at Breeze Spit Roast enough, they really added to our special day and it was so nice to see our family and friends enjoying their dinner with options available for all preferences .
